10th july! another day that inspire me. another day which is meaningful----the day to HOSPIS MALAYSIA. HOSPIS or hospice, a place for life-limiting illness patient. The purpose? is to let them pass on their last stage of life in a more comfortable, pleasure and less suffered condition. There is 2 section for hospis to function which is home care and also day care. Purpose of day care is to let the patient mix around wif others in hospis centre and have some activities. At the same time, time for their family members to rest.
Palliative care, is the treatment they emphasize on, instead of just giving out medicine treatment, patient need something more like counseling, care, and so on to make them stronger at least for the spirit part. be more opstimistic, be more prepared for what will happen next, know that what they can do at the juncture!
im there that day, after interview the publication manager. we manage to get in the activities room where all the patient are chit-chatting. and we are told to be careful of our speech, because they might quite sensitve. But, when talking to them. they are so ... so... i dunno how to said. he just told us, he might be gone tml. he ask us to appreciate our life well. SAY NO TO DRUG!
it's really very very touched and meaningful to have all this visit.
i have this oppurtunity to visit so many charity home. it's certainly will affect my life in future.
the memory is plant inside my mind. install inside my heart.
i will never forget all this.
